Madlala has been acting in the role for five years already since Brand de Villers vacated the position at the end of 2015, although some believe she should relinquish the post because she is also a club owner.
There has been a rumour that Jose Ferreira could return to the League as CEO after withdrawing from the executive committee elections in Sandton on Wednesday.
Ferreira is no longer attached to any team after leaving Bidvest Wits before the club was sold to Lawrence Mulaudzi last season.
Mogashoa believes Madlala has all the necessary attributes to retain the position.
"When you look at what has been achieved especially during Covid-19, because it's a difficult time, she managed to steer the League in the right direction with other members of the executive committee," Mogashoa tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"For that we are saying she proved that she can work and deliver for the League in difficult circumstances. She must continue in that position.
"I know other people criticise that she owns a football club and Dr Khoza also owns a soccer club, but it's important to have people who understand how to run the League because they understand what clubs' problems could be."
Baroka FC boss Khurishi Mphahlele is another club owner who has come out in public to support the recommendation made for Madlala to retain her position as the acting PSL CEO.
