Mamelodi Sundowns captain Schut targets Bidvest Wits scalp

Downs and Wits both sport eight points after four matches - two points behind joint-leaders SuperSport United, Moroka Swallows and surprise package AmaZulu, but with a game in hand.

"We have to win against Wits, especially after the unfortunate draw with Ajax Cape Town, where I feel we did everything right except concede two soft goals," Schut told his club's official website.

"The penalty also didn’t look convincing just to say the least but that’s all behind us now and we have to focus on our next big task, which is against Wits.

"This is a very big match for us teams because the winner will top the table, but more for us because we want vindication after our last result. A good result will go a long way in building the players’ confidence going forward in the season."

The Dutch defender, though, expects Gavin Hunt's charges to ask questions at Loftus Stadium.

"Any team coached by Gavin Hunt is always difficult to play against because his players fight for everything until the last breath," he said.
