Floyd Mbele happy with Orlando Pirates return

The Buccaneers confirmed the re-signing of Mbele as administrative manager earlier today, two years after he left the team after winning the Treble with Ruud Krol.

He replaces Senzo Mazingiza who, ironically, has taken over the same job at Stars.

“It’s good to be back … once a Pirate, always a Pirate,” the former Safa development officer tells snl24.com/kickoff.

“I will basically be reverting to my old job. I learned a lot from working for the Royal Bafokeng and it was good while it lasted, but now my focus is on Orlando Pirates. I will talk to the chairman when I come back regarding what needs to be done going forward.”

Mbele will start his job on August 1 when he returns from his holiday in the Czech Republic.
