The former Kaizer Chiefs striker had joined the Limpopo outfit in a two-year deal on October 15, 2020, but was released 15 days later before kicking a ball.
At the time then TTM CEO Sello Chokoe accused the player of providing the club with only a clearance from the Venezuelan FA and not with his actual clearance certificate from his previous team, and was also asked to provide one from FIFA as well.
"That's what got Chiefs into trouble. Chiefs registered the player [Dax] with a clearance from the Madagascar association, not from his team." Chokoe said in an article published on November 15, 2020.
Asked how much TTM were to pay by FIFA, Paez replied, "almost R2 million rand.
"I feel that they made me lose the possibility of playing these years in South Africa, which was my greatest wish, because of them not having knowledge of the FIFA regulations, now they will have to give me the money without having been able to use me.
"It's sad but this clears the image they showed of me, I was always right and tried to show them that even though they had terminated my contract incorrectly, I wanted to continue with the team.
"I love South Africa, its people, its football and its nature! I always want to go back there.
Both TTM chairman Mulaudzi and club official Livhuwani Madzuhe could not be reached on their phones.
