Eymael dispels Mohammed Anas 'bad luck' accusations

Anas was recently allegedly accused of being cursed by teammates after suffering relegation on numerous occasions.

Eymael who lifted the Nedbank Cup alongside Anas back in 2018 during their time together at Free State Stars, rubbished those claims.

"When he was with us at Free State Stars, it was not the case. We finished 6th with the same number of points as Cape Town City and lifted the Nedbank Cup.

"I think it was the club's first trophy in 24 years and one of the best positions in the league standings in the PSL.

"He was also decisive in every game for Free State Stars and when Free State Stars was later relegated he had already left the club. He left after the Nedbank Cup, I think.

"It was Judas Moseamedi and Eleazar Rodgers who were playing. If my memory is correct.

"What happened after that at Polokwane City, Black Leopards and now at TS Galaxy, I cannot comment.

"But the boy is a striker, not a winger. He can help a bit as a winger but not as a regular winger.

"He sometimes missed easy chances but then would score unbelievable goals. But it is not easy for a striker to be very consistent."
