Former Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic star David Modise has cried foul, alleging that football legends from other provinces are normally not treated the same way as their Gauteng counterparts.
The Amakhosi and Siwelele legends will play a curtain raiser for the Toyota Cup pre-season friendly between Kaizer Chiefs and Tanzanian giants Young Africans SC next Sunday in Bloemfontein.

Modise, who will be wearing the Green and White colours of Celtic, says he plans to feature for only 10 minutes in the legends game.
"I will be playing for Celtic in that game, but just for 10 minutes. These young boys, like Siphiwe Tshabalala from the Kaizer Chiefs squad, will outrun us," he tells this website.
"I will be playing for Celtic because I'm from Bloemfontein and I started my football career at Bloemfontein Celtic, and I'm the one who is putting together the Celtic Legends team.
"What people can expect from my 10 minutes is flair, entertainment and good football, and for sure, it's gonna be entertaining," adds the former midfielder.
Modise applauds the organisers for the initiative of also incorporating legends into the inaugural tournament; however, shares some concerns.
"It's a good thing, but the only legends that football is taking care of are the ones from Johannesburg. Here in the Free State, to get help we have to fight first. For us to benefit, we have to do it through the Gauteng initiatives like this one. But at the same time, we know the Chiefs guys will be paid more money than us.
"Even legends from Limpopo are not entirely satisfied. Football only takes care of people from Gauteng.
"Those R5000s and R10 000s should benefit former professional footballers who don't have any source of income though, but instead, what happens is you will find someone who's already got a job as a television analyst coming here to play.

"You find a player who is still employed within the club's structures wanting to take part and also looking to get the very same money that should be benefitting unemployed legends.
"But this is my opinion though."
