In a clear show of ambition for the upcoming season, a PSL side is said to be chasing the signature of a highly-rated player that has just left Mamelodi Sundowns.
On Monday, Sundowns announced the departure of five players, among them Lebohang Maboe.

The midfielder spent the past season on loan at SuperSport United, who have since had their top-flight status bought by Siwelele FC.
Now, word reaching this website is that the 30-year-old is amongst the experienced players that Gavin Hunt, incoming coach at Durban City, intends on recruiting.
The list also includes Ramahlwe Mphahlele, according to sources.
“Maboe is still weighing his options but there is a high possibility that he could join Durban City”, said the source.
The Ratanda-born star man has seen his stock rise since joining the Chloorkop-based outfit in the 2017/18 season, and aside from his versatility, his work ethic and professionalism are spoken about in high regard in the industry.

Whether the club that launched his career (under their previous name, Durban City) will win the race for his signature, with at least three other clubs interested according to a media report, remains to be seen.
