Mudau is a Sundowns legendary striker who spent his whole professional career at the club and remains the club's all-time leading scorer with 110 goals.
The former Ratanang Maholosiane has revealed got the 'Mambush' nickname when he was younger.
"Because when I was still a young boy, he used to send me to shops to buy stuff for him and I was too fast. I would be back in a flash. He would be so impress and say to my parents, "Hey this Mambush of yours is fast". So Mambush means a young boy, a young flexible boy in Shangaan.
"So that nickname stuck with me. He (Mr Ngobeni) was the one who encouraged me to play soccer, he had his own team. He used to buy me soccer boots, soccer jerseys and other stuff. Sometimes I would take off the soccer boots during a match because I was not used to them.
"The supporters also helped a lot in making the name grow, today Mambush it's a brand name but some people don't understand it's meaning and how I got it."
