The former Golden Arrows striker, who also survived a car accident in Vosloorus while on loan at SuperSport United last season, has since had his vehicle recovered by police, as confirmed by his agent Palesa Mkhize.
"The car has been recovered. The incident happened last week, but what is more important is the well being of the player," Mkhize tells this website.

Though he is not physically injured, Macuphu could still feature in the clash should he be deemed mentally fit after the traumatic event.
Kick-off of what will be The Clever Boys' last ever cup semi-final for the foreseeable future, given the club's sale to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, is scheduled for 19h15 tomorrow evening.
