TS Galaxy finished their year on a high after thrashing Royal AM 3-1 in the Betway Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Royal AM made five changes from their loss against AmaZulu, as Levy Mashiane, Andile Mpisane, Motebang Sera, Sibusiso Magaqa and goalkeeper Zakhele Ngcobo were brought in.
TS Galaxy, on the other hand, recalled Mlungisi Mbunjana, Marks, Thato Khiba and Kganyane Letsoenyo, as four changes from their draw against Kaizer Chiefs.
The Rockets had a perfect start after Dzenan Zajmovic gave them an early lead with a header from a cross by Kamogelo Sebelebele.
Thwihli Thwahla struggled to get into the game and even after the half-hour mark, they had not tested shot-stopper Ira Tape.
John Maduka's charges only came close to equalising on the stroke of half-time after Sbangani Zulu forced a save out of Tape.
However, Victor Letsoalo gave Galaxy a two-goal cushion a moment before the interval with a looping shot after he was setup by Zajmovic from a counter-attack.
Maduka made drastic changes during the break, as he withdrew Chairman Mpisane along with Sera and brought on Sabelo Sithole and Sedwyn George to reinforce their attack.
The changes made immediate impact from the break after George reduced the deficit with a strike from the penalty spot after Mlungisi Sikakane was brought down in the box.
However, Thwihli Thwahla shot themselves in the foot just after the hour-mark, after Sphiwe Mahlangu restored a two-goal cushion for the visitors with a strike from the penalty spot after Mpho Mvelase was fouled in the box.
Beganovic's men looked more likely to run riot in the closing stages, with the likes of Nhlanhla Mgaga and Lindokuhle Mbatha spurning chances, as they had a comfortable win in the end.
The Rockets extended their unbeaten run to six matches.
