Polokwane City coach Phuti Mohafe insists his side had more than enough chances to get a result against Kaizer Chiefs.
Rise and Shine had good moments in front of goal, with Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma making crucial saves and they also hit the crossbar, before Pule Mmodi broke the deadlock early in the second stanza.
City continued to pressurise Amakhosi in the latter stages but could not find the back of the net, with Mohafe claiming they should have at least scored three goals in the first 15 minutes.
"Ja what a game, it's a game where we conceded from a coaching point mistake, don't allow them to cut inside because when they cut inside they are very dangerous, they can take shots," Mohafe told SuperSport TV.
"Apart from that mistake, I don't realize any of their chances except for one that they took the shot from outside the box and the chances that we missed, especially the first 15 minutes, I thought we should have been 3-0 up by the first 15 minutes but the ball does not want to cross the line.
"Towards the end of the match also we should have scored two goals but still we missed. I just think maybe we just need someone or something to push the ball beyond the line," he said.
"The first ten minutes yes we were exchanging punches, both teams were on attack, both teams were in defence and we played in patches, showing the element of brutality but I think what we needed more was the element of aggression.
"That is what I think we've lacked a little bit after the ten minutes going forward up until the first 25 minutes of the first half, where we started to dictate. We were just unlucky not to score today."
