In the latest edition of My Dream Team, former Orlando Pirates, Free State Stars and Mpumalanga Black Aces striker Thulasizwe Mbuyane names the 11 best players he featured alongside in his football career.
The former Bafana Bafana international clinched two league titles, a Telkom Knockout Cup and two MTN8 trophies during his career.
What's your formation of choice?
"Obviously 4-4-2. I'm looking at the team, and the strength of the players while also the team's ability.
"It's a formation I believe can win us games."
Goalkeeper
"I have played with a lot of good goalkeepers, but I will go with Moeneeb Josephs. A good organiser of the defence, he was vocal, and he hated to lose. He was the pillar of our team."
Defenders
"Right-Back I will go for Lucky Lekgwathi. Also, a leader and hard worker who always knew when to go up.
"On the left, I will go for Lucas Twala. He defended it wholeheartedly. He was a workaholic.
"My centre-backs will be Siyabonga Sangweni and Old-John Mabizela.
Sangweni is one of the guys who will mark you out of the game. He didn't lose the ball easily. They were both comfortable on the ball."
Midfield
"In the centre of the park, I have played with the best players money can buy. But I will still go with Andile Jali and Oupa Manyisa. They understood each other better than anyone I have ever played with. They always knew when to attack and when to defend.
"On the left, I will go for Teko Modise. He's a mastermind of football. He's the general he always has a plan.
"Dikgang Mabalane will be on the right. He had pace, he delivered accurate crosses, he was clever."
Strikers
"Behind the striker, I will go for Themba Zwane. He creates space, he makes football talk. He doesn't lose it easily. He is still one of my favourite players.
"In front of him, I will put Benni McCarthy. There's nothing he can't do. You enjoy playing with him, he will create space for you, and he will win the ball for you."
Substitutes…
"My reserve goalkeeper will be Senzo Meyiwa. The confidence and leadership qualities had. Especially before his passing, he was South Africa's finest.
"Defender will be Patrick Phungwayo. Bocca Junior didn't lose the ball easily. He always tracked back comfortably.
"In midfield, I will put the Nigerian guy Prince Olomu, cool calm and collected. He was our engine at Free State Stars.
"Striker will be Sithembiso Ngcobo. A hardworking pacey striker. Most times he was underrated. He was very strong and loved goals."
Coach
"Ruud Krol. I played my best football under him. He's one guy who believed in giving players the freedom to play. He always wanted you to play to the best of your ability."
