Sibusiso Vilakazi confident Mamelodi Sundowns can beat Bidvest Wits

Sundowns will re-start their 2019/20 season when they face Wits at Orlando Stadium at 19h15, with a place in their second cup final up for grabs as they eye a domestic treble.

The Brazilians, who lifted the Telkom Knockout earlier this season, are also in the running for their third successive Absa Premiership title.

Though, with his attention firmly fixed on The Clever Boys, Vilakazi sees the clash as nothing but a hurdle that the Tshwane outfit are ready to overcome en route the Nedbank Cup final set for September 9.

"It's a great feeling to be back, feel the grass and hear the sound of the ball, we have missed it," Vila told the club's website.

"We are onto business things now and we are playing Wits, they are my former side. They are a hurdle on our way to the final.

"They are a strong side, very aggressive and that is a test we are looking forward to. It's going to be a challenge but we are up for it and it will feel great beating them.

"Playing a second final would be great, we take all the games we play as a cup final, as we want to be the greatest team and the only way to do that is by doing great things on the field of play."
