The Amakhosi are South Africa’s most successful club, having amassed by far the most trophies in domestic football.
Having started the season on 66, Chiefs clinched the first trophy on offer, the MTN8 Cup, before securing their fourth PSL title with three matches to spare.
It was their 12th League title overall, having also won the NPSL five times (1974, 1977, 1979, 1981 and 1984) and the NSL First Division three times (1989, 1991 and 1992).
Second on the list for the most titles are Orlando Pirates, who have 34, while Mamelodi Sundowns come in third place with 18.
