Kgotso Moleko has been playing in that position in Molangoane’s absence, while Ramahlwe Mphahlele has been looking on from the bench.
Mphahlele was the first choice full back at the start of the season, but an injury has seen him surrendering the spot to Molangoane, who has done extremely well for Amakhosi with quite a number of man of the match awards.
“It has become more difficult. Rama is back, Tight is back and Moleko is around. You still have Tower [Mulomowandau Mathoho], [Siyabonga] Ngezana, Teenage [Hadebe], [Philani] Zulu, and Tsepo [Masilela] is coming back,” Komphela said.
“When they were not there we were complaining. They are back, so why don’t we rejoice that they are back? We receive what is given to us.
“I am trying to say we welcome the headache. Rama is okay and he can play at any time, Tight is there. We are spoilt for choice.”
Amakhosi will take on Golden Arrows in the Nedbank Cup last 32 at FNB Stadium this afternoon (15h30). Chiefs will be hoping to get a win to edge themselves closer to winning some silverware.
