Zakhele Lepasa warns that Kaizer Chiefs can also score three goals in the MTN8 semi-final second leg

Orlando Pirates forward Zakhele Lepasa has warned that Kaizer Chiefs could still come back into their MTN8 semi-final tie in the second leg this weekend.

Pirates pulled a fast one on their arch-rivals at Orlando Stadium on Saturday as they walked away 3-0 victors with a huge advantage going into the second-leg encounter this Sunday.

While the scoreline might be a little flattering as Chiefs were undone largely by their own defensive frailties, the Buccaneers were certainly clinical in taking their chances through the likes of Lepasa, Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch.

However, the 23-year-old has warned his teammates that Amakhosi are just as capable of overturning the aggregate scoreline in the remaining 90 minutes at FNB Stadium.

"It's really important that we scored three goals, but we must remind ourselves that there's a second leg, and if we can score three goals then they can also score three – this is football," Lepasa told his club's media team.

"We just need to cement our place in the final in the next game, not defend and go out to score again, and the more we score the more difficult it is going to be for them.

"So, it was really, really important that we scored [from the chances created], but I think we could have gotten two more goals, but ja, that's football."
