Orlando Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro has expressed his delight with the recent performances of striker Zakhele Lepasa.
The 25-year-old has shown glimpses of his quality but, so far failed to narrow down a starting position up front and has struggled with form since his return from a long-term injury last season. He's also been linked with a move away from Orlando Pirates.
The Buccaneers may have added fuel to the fire with the recruitment of Eva Nga from Chippa United and Evidence Makgopa from Baroka FC.
However, speaking at an MTN8 media briefing, Pirates head coach Jose Riveiro shed more insight into the relationship between the club and player.
"I'm working with him every day, I know what the guy can give us," Riveiro told journalists.
"So I'm happy with his performance yesterday [against Marumo Gallants], the way he contributed to the three points to the three points."

Riveiro also indicated that the club would prefer to keep the striker on board.
"As long as he puts his mind to keep the tempo that we're looking for in our striker. The future is in his hands, I hope he can continue with the same progression and still be useful for us in the future," the Spaniard added.
Orlando Pirates are still beaming with confidence after recording a 1-0 win against Marumo Gallants that rocketed them from the fourth position to the top of the DStv Premiership table after six matches played.
The Buccaneers will now turn their focus on their MTN8 on Saturday with a trip to KwaZulu Natal to take on competition debutants Royal AM. The game will be played at the Chatsworth Stadium
