A tactician loaded with PSL experience has voiced his disapproval regarding the way clubs are, according to him, allowed by FIFA to turn coaches into jokes.
Vladislav Heric, who has been at the helm of sides like Ajax Cape Town, Chippa United, and Free State Stars, is of the view players are treated with more respect compared to those whom they work under.
The man who turned 59 on 29 August says the lifespan of a coach in both the topflight and the Motsepe Foundation Championship is way too short.

"Some coaches might have just been appointed, but the truth is they are just adding numbers. They will be fired soon," says Heric.
"But, yeah, obviously that's because of the lack of professionalism in the clubs. They will never change.
"You can’t allow such a thing where clubs change a coach everyday, while a player can only change two clubs in a season. It is not balanced.
"FIFA is supposed to start thinking about coaches. Nobody cares about the coaches. It's actually very disrespectful. It's discrimination.
"Yes coaches they must deliver, but they must be given time not two games, three games, or one game. Some people in South Africa are fired even before their first game. They are hired for pre-season.
"You hire me for pre-season, and now I lose two friendly games, you kick me out. As a coach, I want to lose pre-season friendlies to show my players where we need to improve so we can work harder.

"But no, in South Africa you must win every official game, win every friendly match, and win every XI vs XI at training.
"You have to give the coach time. A good example is Stellenbosch FC and Steve Barker. An extremely well-structured club."
So far this season, Sinethemba Badela remains the only elite division coach to have lost his job after parting ways with Chippa United having only taken charge of one game.
