The PSL’s Dispute Resolution Chamber has ordered a PSL club to pay a total of R294 000 to seven of their players for outstanding wages.
The players, namely Melusi Nkosi, Siyabonga Mzwakali, Kgomotso Koena, Junior Sibiya, Siyabonga Nzuza, Tsepo Benside, and Sicelo Masile, will each receive amounts according to what they are owed by Kruger United.

Most notably, all these players are represented by Football Union of South Africa (FUSA).
Additionally, the panel that met to discuss the case declared Nkosi, Mzwakali, Kwena, Benside, and Masile as free agents because the Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit failed to issue them clearances as per the terms of the settlement agreement.
Kruger United, who are coached by Vusumuzi Vilakazi, are considered one of the favourites for automatic promotion to the Betway Premiership after signing several players of decent quality, and will see these developments as a major setback.

After all, clubs in the second tier are run on a shoestring budget with the monthly grant from the PSL small change compared to what is offered to topflight sides.
Their next match is away to Lerumo Lions at NWU Mafikeng Stadium on September 13.
