Although nothing has been finalised yet, Sutton is currently with the Alexandra-based club as they continue their preparations for the new season of the amateur league.
Gomora chairman Joe Seanego recently made it very clear to this website that he is looking to make sure the club is promoted to the GladAfrica Championship at the end of the season.
If all goes well between the club and the coach, Sutton will be working closely with his friend Ian Palmer, who has been employed as the head coach.
Speaking to snl24.com/kickoff, Sutton confirms his presence at the ambitious club.
"We are still talking, we are still talking, I will confirm. I just came to watch them play the 'top four'," he says.
Sutton and Palmer previously worked together at Maritzburg United as part of Clinton Larsen's technical team.
