KickOff has been informed that Ethiopian forward Abubeker Nasir Ahmed is being followed with keen interest from Europe.
Nasir was initially signed at the beginning of the year but was then sent back on loan to his Ethiopian Premier League club Ethiopian Coffee.

He has scored 43 goals in the last two seasons at Coffee and started out with three goals in four appearances at Sundowns before struggling with injury which has forced him of action since the beginning of September when he scored in the league defeat away at SuperSport United.
Since Sundowns returned to training, Nasir has also been sharpening up having shaken off the injury.
Information reaching this website is that he been identified by two European clubs and preparatory work is being done in the background to gather the possibilities of how he can possibly move.
One of the clubs is from an eastern European country but their interest is dependent on matters relating to affordability of the highly regarded Ethiopian who has already played at the AFCON finals.
Sundowns have a five-year contract with Nasir meaning it will take a considerable offer to shake them into selling.

However, with talk around the possibility of Khanyisa Mayo coming in from Cape Town City it leaves possibilities open though changes of any activity in the January transfer window appear slim for now.
Mayo also plays upfront just like Nasir.

Fekade Mamo, the president of Ethiopian Coffee has already previously made a bald prediction to this website about that Nasir is destined for Europe and will use Sundowns as a steppingstone.
"The potential of Abubeker is huge and I think you have seen it.
"Give him two to three years and he will probably join one of the elite clubs in Europe.
"Even today he can join one of the elite European clubs, there is no doubt about that.
"Now that you have seen his performance, I think you can agree that there is no doubt about his potential," said Mamo in a previous interview with this website.
