Bongani Zungu has revealed all on an apparent inter-club rivalry with Andile Jali and his fitness battle to regain match sharpness after a dramatic Mamelodi Sundowns return.
Both Zungu and Jali joined Sundowns after spells in Europe with growing concerns that the duo may not be able to play in tandem for the Brazilians.
There has also been whispers circulating indicating that there could also be a clash of egos along the way.

Zungu and Jali have only been together on the field for a minute at Sundowns which came against AmaZulu when the former came on as a late substitute.
"I don't understand because we played together even at Bafana during Shakes Mashaba's time," responds Zungu about issues related to playing alongside Jali.
"Obviously, because I spoke of depth at Sundowns it is not just Andile that I'm competing with for a position.
"There is (Sphelele) Mkhulise Sipho Mbule, Teboho Mokoena who is doing really good for the team.
"It is not just me and AJ.
"It is about the team because at the end of the day we want to win and leave our mark, leave a legacy of that number eight.
"It is not about me and AJ but the team," says Zungu while also providing answers to the fitness related matters about him for which his coach Rulani Mokwena has already noted he is not happy about.
"He played a massive role to bring me to Sundowns because I had other options and obviously with coach Rulani I always tell him that 'you are always not happy'.
"He wants more and told me before he told the media that he is not happy so I knew.
"He demands more and more from me and so for me, it is to work hard when I get the opportunity.
"When I signed for Sundowns it happened fast and physically I wasn't ready with the team having already played a couple of games
"I have been working very hard on my fitness and they have been helping me a lot at Sundowns.
"I feel very happy.
"I don't feel any pressure. I feel at peace.
"I'm doing well at training and in time my best will come which is not a question.
"I'm looking forward to playing more especially in the Champions League.
"I'm nearly there.
"The team is off, but I have been training at Chloorkop, I'm nearly there.
"It will be an exciting comeback and I'm not being pressured by the club.
"When we play (Orlando) Pirates on the 31st (December) I should be ready," says Zungu who was speaking to the media at the Carling Black Label World Cup event in Sandton.
