The latest ratings for the upcoming EA Sports FC 24 have been released, and while Lyle Foster was upgraded, Lebo Mothiba saw himself downgraded.
With the game set to be released on 29 September, 17 South African footballers will feature as playable characters.

Mothiba, who plays his football for Ligue 1 side Strasbourg, decreased from an overall rating of 70 in FIFA 23 to a 69 in EA's latest footballing game.
However, Mothiba's fans would debate the decline in his rating after making a good start to this season, scoring two goals in four matches whereas last season, he netted just three times in 19 matches.
Meanwhile, Burnley's Lyle Foster saw an improvement in his statistics, going from a rating of 67 to 69 in this year's instalment.
The highest rated South African players in the game with overalls of 75 are Thembi Kgatlana who plays for the women's football team Racing Louisville FC and Linda Motihalo who applies her trade at Glasgow City.
The highest rated South African male is 32-year-old striker Lars Veldwijk. The Suwon FC forward has an overall of 74 and his standout attributes include shooting (75), and physicality (83).
