It seems that Kaizer Chiefs might not be done with shopping for players at Stellenbosch FC, with indications that they've enquired about midfielder Qobolwakhe Sibande.

23-year-old can play as a defensive midfielder, left-back, and left-midfielder and has been one of Stellies' stand-out performers so far this season, featuring in six of the club's last seven league matches.

Sibande is being tracked by several clubs in the PSL, including the Glamour Boys who have already signed midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa from the Cape Winelands last week.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Chiefs make enquires over another Stellies midfielder" story:

"Chiefs needs goal scorers and not just good performing midfielders. I said this before!! Stop buying players you do not need. Get players who can score us goals, and it does not matter if they are not strikers but also scoring midfielders.

"We are limited in terms of skillful midfielders who carry the ball forward to open up spaces for the others. I had proposed that we sign the guy from Maritzburg who ended up at Bucs.

"We needed that player more than Bucs do; given the players they have. That did not happen, and I do not want to hear any more about defensive players coming in," says khothakhosi.

"Chiefs must remove Zwane from the bench and then they will start winning game after game," says thamigee69.

"Where is Dillon Solomons? I like that young man, he is quick. With him, Christian Saile and Du Preez in the side, we can hurt a lot of teams," says gcinanibayeni1.

"Speed kills bro, you need brains. Downs uses brains to win games, you and Pirates are still counting on speed... You will die young, young man. You will spend another decade without a trophy," says Zebra to hell.

"Let Chiefs leave Stellenbosch alone, they have signed more than enough from them," says matemane.

"Tell Sundowns to leave SuperSport United alone first," replies sizweking.

"There should be one coach, not three coaches each giving instructions. The players are confused game after game," says peter95157.

Siyabonga Nomvethe has laid down a challenge for Kaizer Chiefs' new players to prove they are worth donning the club's famous gold and black colours.

Nomvethe says the Amakhosi management has now done everything in the transfer market to improve the team, and it's time for the new signings to repay the faith.

"Bhele" also insists that Molefi Ntseki should be afforded enough time to work on the squad and that the coach should not shoulder all the blame, as the players must win games for the team.

Here's how the readers reacted to the "Nomvethe: 'The Motaungs have done everything'" story:

"The team was ROBBED in Pretoria this past weekend and I hope there will be serious consequences for what the Referees have been doing for Sundowns in all their games.

"Not one game was clean. Why? The team is getting stronger but there are clear areas that need urgent attention. Du Preez is a poor striker despite his pace, he needs help with finishing. He must think like a striker and stop blasting the ball all the time. We will compete next season if they do not go crazy again and change the coach," says khothakhosi.

"Bhele, but you can't force a donkey to drink water. If you are a cow, you will always be a cow, you cannot change and be a Lion. Leave things as it is, players are fine, coach is fine," says Zebra to hell.

"The only thing that is left, is the name Kaizer Chiefs, the rest is gone. No one will ever resuscitate the once mighty Amakhosi and the sooner we make peace with it, the better for us," says Shikabala.

"Sir, it's been 8 years going into 9 with lethargic performances, you get a full season if the team has been playing well to try things out! We been preaching the same thing for 8 years, it's beginning to sound like a broken record now," says Sir_Zovic.

"How will Kaizer Chiefs win a trophy when referees are robbing them in broad day light? Two penalties weren't awarded on Saturday," says Sk wa Le khosi.

"Name any team that has never benefitted from the Mistakes of the referees?" replies Skyvodka.

"8 years with average players. You are failing to get what Nomvethe is saying. For me this is a good squad that needs support, but Chiefs will never understand these things.

"You have been chopping and changing players, coaches and it didn't work. Look how Man City is doing by sticking with Pep. You have good players, but you need to build a team," replies nicholousmaswikaneng.

"Kaizer Chiefs needs a goalkeeper, playmaker and a striker," says Saavedra.

"First time I see you commenting positively about Chiefs and indeed those positions needs some serious reinforcement," replies Khosination.
