Maboe links up with American luxury brand

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lebohang Maboe, ever so consistent with business off the field, partners with an American luxury brand.

The Story

Maboe, 30, was officially released by Sundowns earlier this month following the conclusion of his loan spell at the now-defunct SuperSport United.

During his loan spell, he made 16 appearances for Matsatsantsa, scoring once and providing two assists, playing a key role in helping the club avoid relegation.

While questions remain about his next move in professional football, Maboe has made headlines in the lifestyle space by linking up with COACH, a globally recognised luxury fashion house based in New York City.

Known for its products, including perfumes, COACH has been expanding its presence in the global fashion and lifestyle market, and Maboe’s involvement signals the brand’s growth in Africa.

The midfielder recently took to Instagram to share his excitement, showcasing one of COACH's signature perfumes in a stylish post that reflects his off-field flair and evolving personal brand.

This collaboration could mark the beginning of a new chapter for Maboe, not only as a footballer but also as a lifestyle figure aligning with global luxury trends.
