'Nabi has no excuse to lose to Polokwane City coach'

In this week's edition of Secret Footballer, a former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder has expressed his disappointment with the side's recent loss to Polokwane City, which has further compounded their issues so far this season.

The Secret Footballer slammed head coach Nasreddine Nabi for losing matches he should be winning.

"People are talking about the second round, but who are we going to beat there if we are still losing to the likes of Polokwane City?" he blurts out.

"The Polokwane City coach's salary ingena [is multiplied] how many times in Nabi's salary? I'm certain some Chiefs players are earning more than the Polokwane City coach, who sometimes receives calls while sitting on the bench coaching.

"But he is more dedicated to his job than all of them. We have to speak the truth.

"So, Nabi has no excuse to lose to the Polokwane City coach. Yes, he was not the one playing, but a coach should influence the results and make sure his team becomes competitive.

"We expected a lot from Nabi, but all we get at the moment are excuses," he goes on further.

The Secret Footballer maintains that a coach's responsibility is to make sure he improves and that his philosophy gets instilled.

"At the moment, Chiefs take one step forward and 10 steps backwards. No wonder Polokwane City celebrated like they've won a cow.

"You can't tell me Polokwane City players are better than Chiefs players. You may find one Chiefs player's salary can pay 10 Polokwane City players. Chiefs are disappointing us."

Amakhosi return to action with a Betway Premiership clash against revived TS Galaxy at Mbombela Stadium.

Kick-off is at 15:00.
