BREAKING: Further FIFA troubles for Betway Premiership club
KickOff.com can reveal that FIFA’s Disciplinary Committee has ruled against TS Galaxy in the latest case involving the Betway Premiership club.
The case in question relates to Liberian midfielder Jegbay Morris Konneh, who was signed at the beginning of the 2024/25 season but left without playing any official matches.

Konneh was involved in pre-season friendlies before going to spend six months at the club.
The end result was that he left frustrated and then took the FIFA path with his claim in finding a solution for the issues relating to his contract dispute against the club.
He signed a three-year contract that came into effect on July 1, 2024.
With all submissions from all parties involved having come in as of May, FIFA has since issued its findings stating that Morris’ claim has been partially accepted.
This FIFA order means TS Galaxy have to pay Morris approximately a six-figure USD denomination amount.
However, following the issuing of the decision on Wednesday, TS Galaxy immediately asked for the grounds of the decision from FIFA.
Once the world governing body issues these findings, the club will have further appeal options, which include the expensive Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) route.
The CAS route is expensive considering all the amounts involved in filing a case.
Once FIFA’s legal deadlines are exhausted without payment to the player from TS Galaxy, then they will impose a transfer ban.
TS Galaxy already have two three-window transfer bans, which came into effect in December 2024, plus another sanction hanging on their heads until further notice.
These bans relate to other cases not related to Morris.

Last year, TS Galaxy ultimately had to pay Ivorian striker Bernard Yao Kouassi about USD98 000 (approx. R1,7 million) after CAS upheld FIFA’s ruling on his claim.
The three-window transfer ban, which had come into effect in June 2024, was then lifted.
