Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana's move to Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca is under threat following revelations that the incoming coach has raised his reservations about the Burundian.

The 25-year-old closed off the 2022/23 season as the club's top goal scorer in the league with seven goals from 17 appearances but appeared to have lost the confidence of Arthur Zwane who was never keen on his signing from the beginning.
Prior to Bimenyimana eventually signing his contract at Chiefs, the club delayed having initially raised their doubts that he wasn't what the club was looking as per Zwane's words when he was asked by the media at the beginning of the 2022/23 season.

His proposed move to Wydad has been faced with similar question marks.
Incoming coach Adil Ramzi has raised concerns about Bimenyimana after going through his numbers from last season.
The tall striker might have scored eight goals last season at Chiefs but five were from the penalty spot including the hat-trick against Stellenbosch.
This has reportedly left Ramzi with question marks about if Bimenyimana can genuinely be looked upon as the solution for goals at a club as huge as Wydad.
Ramzi – who is a Moroccan Dutch and has been working at PSV Eindhoven since he retired a decade – feels further considerations still need to be made in signing Bimenyimana.
The deal remains pending.

Wydad have commitments in the Arab Club Champions Cup as soon as July 27 and besides domestic commitments will also have CAF Champions League football to play after finishing second last season.
Bimenyimana has previously played in both the CAF Champions League and Confederation while at Rayon Sports in Rwanda.
In the meantime, Chiefs are open to doing business in offloading Bimenyimana after attempts to terminate his contract failed due to settlement fee related matters.
AmaKhosi have been rubbing their hands in anticipation of cashing up on the tall striker.
