Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove will put his pending contract issue at the club on hold after being recognised on the international front.
Dove has been selected for Mozambique’s squad to play against Bafana Bafana in an international friendly at Loftus Versfeld on June 10.

The 30-year-old has earned the trust of Chiquinho Conde again after he was also selected in March just weeks after playing his first game for Chiefs after injury.
He will now be up against familiar opponents playing for Mambas, who have recalled Polokwane City midfielder Manuel Kambala and former Mamelodi Sundowns man Luis Miquissone.
Just like last year when he went for COSAFA Cup duties uncertain of his future at Naturena, Dove is caught up in another contract wait situation.
Fortunate for him last year was that he had the option on his deal exercised and after recovering from his pre-season injury played 13 matches.
The Soweto giants have not engaged him over a new deal with his current running up at the end of June.
It is no secret that the club are exploring other options, which paints a picture of the fact that he is not a priority for them.
There have been efforts to explore the Gulf Region market, where entry-level Second Division packages compare to what he is on at Chiefs.

In the meanwhile, Dove’s former club Uniao Desportivo do Songo will be open to welcoming him back to Mozambique should he not get another deal in the PSL or elsewhere.
UD Songo offer their top players packages comparable to what the low end of Betway Premiership clubs pay, and better than what those in the Motsepe Foundation Championship earn.
