The door to Inacio Miguel’s international career remains open despite the backout that he has endured since joining Kaizer Chiefs last year.
Miguel is in his second season at Chiefs where his influence is already visible to the naked eye.

The 29-year-old is set to take over as team captain following Yusuf Maart’s departure to Austrian club SV Ried 1912.
What will make his appointment as captain natural is that he played eight games with the armband last season.
In light of becoming the regular skipper Miguel is being considered for a return to the Angolan national team.
The last of his five caps for Palancas Negras was in November 2023 when he came on as a substitute in a World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde.
At the last AFCON finals, the Portugal born Angolan was a late call-up but never featured.

Last week an Angolan publication made claims about what Miguel is earning at Chiefs.
That figure equated to R4,6 million per annum with his transfer from Petro de Luanda having been USD250 000 (approx. R4,4 million).
