The Story
The eThekwini outfit arrived at three locations across KwaZulu-Natal with a truckload of groceries over the long weekend, in an event that the club is less known for given their often spectacular off-field ways.

A helping hand
Shauwn Mkhize's side volunteered their services to those in need as they supplied food parcels to some of the communities affected by the devastating floods in the various areas of the province.
The Durban outfit has been flying high on the field and they seemingly have an increasing fan base, which will be aroused by the club's philanthropy work.
Images on Mkhize's and the team's Instagram pages show that various members of the side, including the squad, technical team, as well as the those upstairs, gathered to participate in an endearing initiative, where foods such as rice, mealie meal, samp, chicken, and the expensive cooking oil were handed.
The football side of things
Thwihli Thwahla fell at the hands of newly-crowned DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals on Sunday, a day after their charity work.
A 2-1 defeat was enough to see them end their best topflight cup run, however, they can expect a sizeable cash prize for having reached the penultimate stage of the tournament.
