Spurs crashed out of the Carling Knockout Cup against Orlando Pirates by 2-0 at Orlando Stadium on Friday to compound a winless start to the DStv Premiership.
Manousakis admitted that the Urban Warriors were aiming to add quality and much needed experience to their squad.
"The pressure is immense for them, they're not used to it," Vasili said post-match.
"But that's the model of the club, but certainly there needs to be the right balance,
"That balance is a little bit out of tilt at the moment, and that is why if there are one or two free agents, that can make a difference.
"We also need to be realistic with who is available, and if can we get them now, because we don't want to get to January when it's too late.
"But when it does turn, this experience will make them better players."
