SuperSport United's Stuart Baxter braced for Al-Ahly Shendy CAF Confederation Cup rematch

Kick-off is at 18h00, with SuperSport needing to overturn a 3-2 loss from the first leg in Sudan.

Baxter expects the visitors to make use of balls over the top in Tshwane.

"It's a 4-4-2 formatted side, they pass the ball a lot, possession-based but they have two quick players where when they are under pressure, they launch the ball over the top," said the Briton.

"So it's somewhere between playing for possession and then whap... it goes behind you. We did quite well in the first half [in the first leg], I think it was 0-0 and I played Morgan Gould as the holding midfield player and I left Dean [Furman] at home.

"Morgan did a very nice job. But he got injured and he had to be off at half-time so we had to change.

"Then they got the penalty in the first five minutes and it became a different game. So we had to start chasing. But as I said, they won't be easy opponents, not at all."

The former Kaizer Chiefs boss added: "It was an archetypal African adventure. So to get 3-2, I think two away goals is a decent performance and they can play, they can play.

"They knock it around even on their pitch but they tried to knock it about.

"But on the quicker pitch here I think we got a good chance of going through."

Platinum Stars yesterday advanced in the competition with a 3-2 aggregate win over Ugandan outfit Vipers SC.
