Rudolf Seale changes tune on Kaizer Chiefs' CAF Champions League prospects

For the first time in their history the Glamour Boys reached the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League following a 2-2 draw with Horoya.

That was followed by a 1-1 draw with Baroka this week, which has brought back a sense of reality, but the team has done enough to change one legend's outlook for the season.

"I'm very, very impressed even though I didn't expect to come this far based on what Kaizer Chiefs has displayed in the domestic league," Seale tells snl24.com/kickoff.

"So I'm just hoping they go all the way and bring the [CAF] trophy home hopefully. Not forgetting they still need to better their position in the domestic league.

"Remember, I once said I hope Kaizer Chiefs gets knocked out early so that they can concentrate in our domestic league. Seeing that they are doing well now, I reverse my statement and hope that they go all the way on both ends.

"I just wish they can bring something to complement what has been going on here at home. I just wish they can go all the way."
