Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler admits the club has benefitted from the underdog tag in the CAF Champions League this season.
Chiefs are set to face Tanazaniain Premier League champions Simba SC on Saturday afternoon who are favourites for the tie after ousting Pitso Mosimane's Al Ahly to win Group A.
Frosler admits Didier Gomes' men are also an unknown prospect to the squad but they understand the size of the challenge that awaits in the quarter-final of Africa's elite club competition.
"When the draw came out and were drawn against Simba, personally I didn't know much about Simba," Frosler admits.
"Obviously after reading about them more and looking up on them, they seem like a team that has been doing well in the Champions League for the past few years.
"They seem like a very big team in Tanzania. I'm looking forward to playing against them, it poses next challenges for us.
"We're up for it, I'm up for it. I don't know much about them but I'm looking forward to the game and looking forward to what they have in store for us."

With Chiefs arriving on a dismal run of form that sees them languish in tenth place in the league, the Bafana Bafana right-back says their results in the competition proves it's not a forgone conclusion.
"I think we have a good chance [to progress], from the start of the CAF, nobody knew much about us in terms of CAF experience so we are regarded as an underdog," he explained.
"We'll stay an underdog and just keep doing our best, you never know - as you've seen it's been unpredictable anybody can win on the day.
"Each player must give their best and you never know what may happen, for me it's to keep learning and keep growing in the competition and you never know where you might just end up."
Frosler has been a rare bright light for Amakhosi this season and will look to help the Soweto giants gain an advantage in the first leg clash at FNB Stadium before the return leg in Dar es Salaam next week.
