Both Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs are currently doing well in their respective CAF competitions, with the AmaKhosi qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time.
Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are on the brink of qualifying for the Confederations Cup knockout stages as they sit top of Group A after last week's victory over Al-Ahli Benghazi.
If both Pirates and Chiefs manage to win their respective competitions, they will meet in the Super Cup to determine who is the best in continent.
"Hhayi it's a far-fetched dream," says Ramokgadi who scored the only goal to hand the Buccaneers the Super Cup title in 1996.
"You can see for yourself the only team that is consistent here is (Mamelodi) Sundowns. As for the other two, I'm not impressed. Consistency should be both local and in Africa. As for Chiefs it will also depend on who they get in the Quarter- Finals."
Ramokgadi says it's Pirates that stand a better chance of playing in the Super Cup compared to Chiefs who are playing with the big boys.
"I don't see Chiefs going to the final. You still have the likes of Al Ahly there...no it's tough competition. But they've shown they can play in Caf competitions, remember Chiefs is a big team, and they deserve to play a final once in a while in Africa. The Super Cup have the same weight as the Champions League as it determines the overall champions of Africa."
