Three first half goals from Kahraba, Ahmed Radwan, and Mohamed Magdi Kafasha sealed the victory for Al Ahly away at Aswan on an afternoon when Percy Tau came on from the bench in the second half for Malian midfielder Aliou Dieng with victory already sealed.
With the win, Al Ahly opened a-three-points lead at the top of the domestic standings with two games in hand.
This means Saturday evening's tie pits the table toppers in Egypt and South Africa with Cassius Mailula the centre of focus as the emerging Sundowns star.
Sundowns' form has been sending shivers not only in South Africa but all over the continent sweeping any opposition that comes their way since Rulani Mokwena was handed the reigns in October.
The Brazilians' 14 wins in a row has included victories over their biggest local rivals Orlando Pirates (twice), Kaizer Chiefs, and SuperSport United before making light work of Al Hilal and Cotonsport.
Al Ahly are unbeaten in the domestic league after 16 games having win 12 and drawn four scoring 29 and conceding only five.
Prior to Tuesday's win they had lost three in a row which came in two games at the FIFA Club World Cup and one in the Champions League.
Whatever the case, fact is that Saturday is what is the day that is much anticipated at the Cairo International Stadium with this season's Champions League favourites in town.
It is a game that will have 10 000 fans in the stands with the Egyptian authorities only allowing that number as the maximum.
The Red Devils are desperate for all three points with Sundowns already having six points in the bag.
