Mosimane recently suffered his first defeat in Egyptian football since his arrival at the club in September 2020 after his shock exit from Mamelodi Sundowns.
With the Champions League, Egypt Cup, and third-place at the FIFA Club World Cup, Mosimane has earned plenty of admirers but defeats to Simba SC, and more recently Smouha has seen criticism rise in Egyptian media.
From his tactical system to training methods, club legends have been vocal and former head coach Mohamed Youssef went as far as to say his fitness regime may be causing their injury crisis with over 10 first-team stars sidelined.
But Komsan feels the negativity towards Mosimane is completely unwarranted as the unique circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic that's caused the congested fixture schedule was always bound to stretch the limits of the players.
"No team in the world can withstand the pressure of playing every 48 hours amid so many injuries. Yet still, Mosimane and the technical staff receive scathing criticism," he said, as per KingFut.
"Mosimane is familiar with the nature of the work at Al Ahly and the pressure of the fans and tries to adapt with the situation, but sometimes he feels angry due to some irrational criticism or questions.
"There are those who hold Mosimane the responsibility for players' injuries, and this is completely irrational. It is completely beyond our control and we deal with each game individually, according to the circumstances that precede it."
Ahly returns to Egyptian Premier League action on Tuesday evening when they travel to Alexandria Stadium to face fourth-placed Al Masry.
