READ: Ellis hoping for packed Durban stadium
Seoposenwe was speaking to media as the women's senior national team prepared for their last home match against Jamaica at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Sunday.
"Playing in two World Cups is a blessing, but to be honest in the under-17 I was too young and not mature enough to understand the magnitude of the event," she said.
"Right now I'm more aware of the impact it can make in women's football. Doing well in France can change the whole face and impression of the game in our country."
Talking about the squad that has been selected by coach Desiree Ellis, Seoposenwe said the team is well balanced and their experience will serve them well.
"Our squad is a mixture of young and old," she explained. "We will gain a lot from our experienced players as much as we will do with young ones. In a big tournament you need a balance and I think coach Des did exactly that, she knows experience is important in such tournaments.
Seoposenwe was asked for the reason behind her decision not to play overseas.
"The older I get, I become more mature about decisions I make, it's very important in putting your life in order at an early age. I want to be successful on and off the field so I had to think about my studies and create something outside football.
"As a player you have to make the right decisions and know your limit but I'm not saying I won't play overseas."
