Ahead of the match against Bafana Bafana, Walid Regragui fielded a team led by PSG defender Achraf Hakimi and featuring Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea, Noussair Mazraoui (Bayern Munich), Sofyan Amrabat of Fiorentina, Abdelhamid Sabiri of Sampdoria, and Imran Louza (Watford).
Regragui is expected to retain the same line-up against Bafana Bafana.
A partisan crowd was behind the Atlas Lions as they continued enjoying the benefits of being the first African country to ever reach the semi-finals of the World Cup.
That miraculous run has meant Morocco are ranked 11th in the FIFA world rankings and are the best team on the continent ahead of Senegal.
Since the World Cup in December last year, they have gone on to beat Brazil 2-1 in a friendly match before the drew with Peru.
The result from Monday night's fixture against the Atlantic Ocean islanders didn't matter much ahead of their first competitive official against Bafana Bafana on Saturday in the post World Cup era.
Both Bafana and the Atlas Lions are already through from Group K so the fixture will have no significance in determining any important business.
Kick-off is at 17:00.
