Pitso sends message to Under-23 squad for Afcon qualifier

Former Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane has delivered a message to the the national Under-23 squad ahead of their Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Congo –Brazzaville on Thursday.

Mosimane is back in the country from Saudi Arabia to spend time with his family during the FIFA break.

"Jingles" is currently in charge of the Jeddah-based outfit, Al-Ahli in Saudi Arabia and chasing promotion into the Saudi Professional League next season.

Mosimane took time to visit the Under 23 squad in their camp based in Johannesburg ahead of their most important clash against the Congolese side at the Dobsonville stadium.

"It was such a honour to talk to the boys who will be playing their CAF U23 Olympics qualifier first leg tomorrow," posted Mosimane on his social media account.

"I told the boys to focus on their football careers and to nurture their talent with hard work and dedication.

All the best to the boys and technical team, make us proud," he added.

Under-23 coach David Notoane has already hinted at his plan to unleash England-based midfielder Kgaogelo Chauke for the Afcon qualifier matches against Congo-Brazzaville in Soweto on Thursday.
