The Orlando Pirates shot-stopper will come up against many familiar faces when The Black Stars look to extend their lead at the top of the Group G standings in their quest to book a place for next year's World Cup in Qatar.
"This game is very important not only for me but the nation," Ofori said.
"We know how the nation loves the games and how important this game is for the nation because we want to go to the World Cup where every player wants to play so it is very important for the team and for the nation.
"I am playing with most of the players here and I know their qualities and that they are very good. At the end of the day, we are Ghana, and we need to show that we are the Ghananian national team, and the most important thing is that we need to win.
Ofori added that previous results will count for nothing on the day when the two sides meet.
"We cannot say we have an advantage over them because nowadays football has changed, and everyone knows how to play," Odori added.
"All the countries can play, and I remember previously in the Afcon Madagascar performed. Every country can play and it is just a matter of who wants it more so I know my colleagues and we have been together for a couple of days we want it badly and at the end of the day, it is just a matter of who wants it more so it is about determination and we are determined and we hope that everything goes well so that we make our country proud at the end of the day."
