Speaking ahead of Thursday's clash, Notoane praised the on-loan Exeter City's attributes as a talented midfielder ahead of making his debut.
"He's a talented player, an intelligent player who will have to find his feet as quick as possible inside the camp," Notoane said."That's what international football is about sometimes, you know.
"Physically, he brings a little bit of a presence into our midfield.
"He's a player with good technique, deft touches and likes combination play from what I have seen.
"One would like to see his potential ability to make box entries, but he's a guy that can also make the team play."
Notoane's side will be aiming to make a positive start in their bid to qualify for the continental competition.
"Two-legged ties are exciting, they allow you to do the business at home.
"The difference with this one is we are home first. It's important to take a win and not concede, and then going to the second leg, we'll know how to manage the tie.
"Chauke has made 20 appearances so far this season on loan at Exeter with two goals.
