"They are not ready, there's no way they were going to last a distance," Magents tells KickOff.
"From the start, they were not supposed to qualify, there was no way they were going to qualify because even their coach didn't believe in them.
"The coach [Hugo Broos] said in his own mouth that our players don't have enough quality to go up against the best.
"So, we were going to be a joke. So, whether we had qualified or not there was no way we were going to do well."
On Thursday the national team hosted Mozambique at Mbombela Stadium in a friendly match, And on Sunday they are playing Angola at the same venue.

"I'm a staunch supporter of Bafana Bafana but not under the current coach.
"The likes of Themba Zwane are only in the team because we complained as a nation.
"He should have brought them back in that crucial World Cup qualifier against Ghana.
"We don't build at the national team level, but we go for a kill.
