Mngqithi offers advice to Bafana Bafana coach

Broos revealed that he was turned away at Orlando Stadium as he attempted to watch the crucial league encounter between Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

Speaking after their 2-0 win over the Buccaneers, Mngqithi revealed that he was open to meeting the Belgian coach as one of the major contributors to the national team.

"I have never had an invite from the national team coach to say he wants to meet us," Mngqithi said.

"I believe that is a very good step in the right direction for a coach that is new in the country so that he can get to feel us and to get to understand our players better and even ask questions that are maybe troubling him with the players he has already selected.

"We will always welcome him when he comes to meet us in such meetings."

Bafana Bafana are set to face Ethiopia in a doubleheader World Cup qualifier clash on 9 and 12 October.
