The Buccaneers travel to Durban to face Chiefs in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals on Saturday fresh off the back of a return to winning ways against Highlands Park.
Pirates rested Lorch during the 1-0 league win over Highlands in Tembisa on Tuesday as he was sitting on three yellow cards and risked a suspension, but the Absa Premiership Footballer of the Season returns for the big cup tie.
Meanwhile, Pirates coach Rhulani Mokwena has declared a clean bill of health in his team ahead of the trip to Moses Mabhida Stadium.
"Fortunately now we've got a clean bill of health. [Mthokozisi] Dube is back, [Innocent] Maela is back, Ben Motswari is back, [Augustine] Mulenga has just returned from injury, [Justin] Shonga is back," he confirmed.
"We are trying to get our [best] team back onto the pitch. It's not easy but we just keep going."
