According to the charge sheet, Sirino was originally scheduled to face the PSL Disciplinary Committee on Monday, 11 November related to charges brought against him for his behaviour in the MTN8 semifinals against SuperSport United.
However, the Uruguayan midfielder has not been able to attend his hearing yet after Sundowns provided a medical report citing 'stress' as a reason for his failure to appear.
It could not be ascertained what kind of stress Sirino was suffering from, but aside from mental stress the medical report may have been referring to stress on his ankle injury, which he has since recovered from.
Had Sirino appeared before the DC last week or this week and been found guilty, he would likely have been suspended with immediate effect, meaning he would have missed the semifinal against Golden Arrows on Saturday.
PSL prosecutor Nande Becker has confirmed a new date for the hearing.
"Mr Sirino through his representative submitted a medical certificate that he was suffering from stress on Monday," Becker tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"The case will now be heard next week Wednesday, 27 November."
Sirino has been charged with assault and bringing the game into disrepute.
If found guilty of assault against another player he will be suspended for a minimum of two matches, as per the NSL rule book.
The PSL DC has already handed down a six-month ban to Cape Town City midfielder Mpho Makola after he was found guilty of assaulting a match official.
