An England star has been hailed as the "new Diego Maradona" following his stunning display on Sunday.
Premier League football returned this past weekend after a pause due to the international break.
The action-packed gameweek saw Chelsea lose 4-1 to minnows Brentford at home, relegation-threatened Everton tasted defeat at West Ham United, and Tottenham Hotspur ran riot against Newcastle United, thumping them 5-1 on Sunday.

Spurs star Harry Kane's impressive display against the Magpies, which saw him earn the Man of the Match award despite only registering an assist, has since earned him massive praise from former France star David Ginola, who surprisingly likened him to Maradona.
Speaking after the game on a Sky Sports broadcast, the ex-Lilywhites and Newcastle attacker said: "Spurs are looking very confident. They are relying on their assets and the finishing up front is amazing.
"The new playmaker at Spurs is Harry Kane. He is like the new Diego Maradona now.
"Long passes, short passes, he has it all."
However, the 55-year-old also insisted that the England striker needs to move away from the club to reach his full potential.
"For a player of his calibre, playing year-in, year-out, just to be in the top four, it's not enough," Ginola added.
"If he's got propositions in the future to play with clubs who will challenge for and win trophies, that's where he could [go].
"At the end of your career, what you look at is the list of trophies that you won.

"If they win all their games until the end of the season, then they will finish in the top four.
"Of course, it depends on Arsenal, it depends on Chelsea, on other teams, but [Spurs] have got their destiny in their hands."
Kane and Spurs' next match is a crunch Premier League tie away at Aston Villa on Saturday evening, and a win in that fixture will go some way to helping ensure that they secure UEFA Champions League football next season.
