Germany international Timo Werner has got a second homecoming at RB Leipzig after they re-signed the forward from Chelsea for £25.3 million (R498 million), plus bonuses, on a four-year deal earlier this week.

The 26-year-old returns to the Bundesliga side having left two years ago to join the Blues, where he failed to replicate the form he showed in Germany, scoring just 23 goals in 89 appearances across all competitions for the London club.
Another London team who also parted ways with a first-team star in recent days is Arsenal, who confirmed that Pablo Mari has completed a loan move to newly-promoted Serie A outfit Monza for the upcoming campaign after the 28-year-old defender failed to earn a regular starting XI spot at the Emirates Stadium.
West Ham United and Fulham also reached an agreement for the transfer of Issa Diop. The French defender reportedly cost the Cottagers £15 million (R295 million) with only a year left on his deal at the London Stadium.

Diop has signed a five-year contract with the newly promoted Premier League side, and will wear the No. 31 shirt for the club.
David Moyes' Hammers also recently parted ways with Nikola Vlasic, who has joined Torino on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, a deal that includes an option to buy.
