The Russian starred at the 1966 World Cup, and also helped his nation win the 1960 European Championship and 1956 Olympic Games gold medal.
1966 World Cup winner Gordon Banks comes in at second place while Italian legend Dino Zoff completes the podium.
Of the top 10, only three goalkeepers are still playing as Gianluigi Buffon and Manuel Neuer complete the top five while Iker Casillas is ranked in eighth.
Neuer is youngest of the current active goalkeepers on the list and has already enjoyed a tremendous amount of success for Bayern Munich and Germany over the last decade.

Likewise, Casillas and Buffon have both lifted the World Cup although the latter is yet to taste UEFA Champions League success, despite having played in three finals for Juventus.
